The agreement stops being a PDF in a folder
A franchise agreement is a set of dates and obligations that the business needs to act on for the next five years. Stored as a scan, it can only be read — never acted upon.
Signing trail
Click-wrap + OTPWhat breaks without it
Signed agreements live in a drive. Renewal dates are known when someone remembers to look, and the territory a franchisee was promised is in clause 4 of a document nobody opens.
How it works
Agreements & signing, step by step
Record the agreement, not just the file
Term, renewal date, territory, fee structure and obligations become fields on the franchisee. The signed document is attached; the terms are queryable.
Send a signing link
A tokenised link the counterparty opens without an account. They read the agreement, verify by email OTP, and sign — drawn signature on the document itself.
Keep the evidence
IP address, timestamp and the OTP verification are recorded with the signature, so what you hold is a signing trail rather than an image of a name.
Act on renewals before they arrive
Renewal dates are dates the system knows. They surface as work rather than as a surprise in a quarterly review.
What you get
- An agreement record with terms, territory and renewal dates
- A tokenised signing link for the counterparty
- A signing trail — OTP verification, IP, timestamp, drawn signature
- Renewal work items ahead of the date
The India detail
Where wet ink still wins
Click-wrap with OTP is appropriate for franchise agreements and addenda. Property leases in most Indian states still want wet ink and stamp paper, and Aadhaar eSign through a licensed ESP is a later option — we would rather say that than imply every document can be signed in-app.
Questions people ask
- Is an OTP click-wrap signature valid in India?
- Electronic records and signatures are recognised under the IT Act, and click-wrap with verified OTP plus a full audit trail is the common commercial standard for agreements of this kind. For documents where your counsel wants Aadhaar eSign or wet ink — leases especially — the platform holds the record and the executed document rather than pretending to replace the ceremony.
- Can we use our own agreement template?
- Yes. The document you upload is the document that gets signed; the record captures the terms alongside it.
- Who can see a signed agreement?
- Access follows the same capability, scope and focus rules as the rest of the platform. An area developer’s agreement is not visible to a consultancy acting for the brand unless the grant says so.
- What if the counterparty has no account?
- They do not need one. The signing link is tokenised and opens without a login; OTP verification is what establishes who signed.
